Fill Hoses
(Washing machines)
If your washing machine is fitted with hot and cold fill valves it will require two functioning hoses connected to allow it work properly, it is possible for these hoses to be connected to the wrong valves, which would allow hot water into the machine during the rinse cycle and this would mean your washing coming out hot and not properly rinsed. On most machines there are the letters H for hot and C for cold next to the appropriate valve. It is also quite possible for the taps to be wrongly colour coded. So just because a tap has a red lever on it don't take it for granted that it's the hot valve
